VTFC Sock Code
Very simply, earning a rating in a weapon in a USFA event earns a VTFC member the privledge to wear socks that reflect their rating, and are more interesting than the average boring white fencing sock. The rating colors are as follows:

A	B	C	D	E	U
Black	Blue	Orange	Green	Maroon	Boring

The position of the asterisks next to a member's name indicates what weapon(s) they fence and the color of the asterisk indicates their rating with that weapon.

Incidentally, the reason that Virginia Tech colors were used for C and E ratings is most of the club had either a C or an E when the color system was devised. I know you were wondering.

Where am I?
If you are not listed, it is because you have not paid dues for this semester. Only those members that have paid their dues, or are not required to pay dues, are listed. Pay dues, and I'll put you on the roster! Please also recall that if you have not paid dues, you may not use club equipment or participate in any tournaments.
