Beginner Lessons

Hello everyone!
VTFC is kicking off spring semester Beginner Lessons on Monday February 4th at 7:30 p.m.in the dance room at War Memorial Hall. Lessons will continue at that time and place every Monday and Wednesday for the next 6 weeks! Don't worry if you miss a lesson or two. We can catch you up with no problems at all. If you have any questions just contact an officer!

Upcoming Fencing Demo

Hello Everyone!
Thank you to everyone who attended the Olympic Fencing Clinic at Virginia Tech. The turnout was amazing! You can find the news coverage video of the clinic here: http://www.wdbj7.com/videogallery/74187595/News/Fencing-clinic-at-Virginia-Tech#pl-66745839
Now we turn our attention to training our next class of beginners! Our beginner's demo will be held on Wednesday January 30th at 7:30pm in the dance room in War Memorial Hall. All ages are welcome to come learn more about fencing. The demo will be followed by a small fencing lesson, and 6 weeks worth of free lessons after that! Just email any of the club officers if you have questions.

Practice Cancelled

Hello Fencers,
Practice this evening January 25th is cancelled. Officers, and everyone who needs gear for the clinic tomorrow is expected to be at War tomorrow morning at 10am to get gear to take up to McComas for the clinic later that morning.

Important Information For The New Semester

Hello Fencers!
I hope all of you had a great break. There's a lot of exciting stuff coming up soon! Here is what you need to know:
- The first practice of the semester will be held on Monday January 21st
- Officer meetings are now Tuesdays from 7-8pm. All members are welcome to attend
- The Spring Beginner's Demo will be held in the dance room on Wednesday January 30th at 7:30 p.m.
- Beginner's Lessons will start on Monday Februrary 4that 7:30 p.m. in the dance room
- Finally, the Olympic Clinic is on Saturday January 26th at 2 p.m.! It is free for all dues paying members.

Website Updates & Banquet

Hello Fencers!
The website has recieved a few minor updates on the FAQ, team roster, fencing stuff links, and probably one or two other places I forgot about. Be sure to check out the super cool stuff!
Remember that the end of the semester banquet is coming up! It will be held on December 12th, location TBA. All members are welcome, collegiate or otherwise!
