NCCFC

Was the best tournament ever. We will be sending praise/comments/suggestions to Bruce. If you went and have something to say, send it to Jen. Also, if you went, stop by practice on Monday to sign thank you cards to our hosts. If you went, respond to Kurt's survey, which was sent to the listserv.

Alumni Tournament

First of all, we need volunteers to help run it. If you can help, even for just a few hours, email Krista. Will be held on the 26th and 27th of April (Saturday and Sunday). Following Fencing on Saturday will be a banquet. The banquet is $15 for members, and it's $10 to fence all weekend. More specific information will come soon, I promise.

Standing Issues

~We still need more newbies to go to Roanoke College to fence their fencing class. It's next Tuesday, and we'll leave around 5 pm. We also need people to drive. If you can either fence or drive, email Alex NOW.

~If you want a VTFC Jacket, email Alex, they will likely be ordered next semester.

~Pictures for the yearbook have been flowing in. If you have any more, contact Laura NOW.

~If you ant to go to a recsports award's dinner, email Krista, NOW.

Gear Check Out

Be sure to check in and put away equipment that was checked out en mass after a tournament. Also be sure to put jackets back in order.

Web Cite

The Officer's now have a web cite to keep documents to give us all easy access to information. Be sure to read the readme file before using it. If you need help with it, ask Alex.

Future Trips

In the future, we will keep records of van usage, including mileage, and cost of gas, in order to better project future expenses, and to help ensure motor pool isn't screwing us.

Roanoke College

For the newbie fencing, we need to bring all electric equipment, including strips, lemets, body cords, weapons, etc. We also still need people to drive.

NCCFC

Was an overall success. We will be sending thank you cards to our hosts. We will have a chance to host it in 2007, so we should make it known that we wish to now.

Budget

We have been granted additional money from the Budget Board. This money will help us out allot. We will send a thank you to the Budget Board.

Fundraising

Some more ideas have been raised, including selling hot dogs/hamburgers for the football game the weekend we get back from Summer break. We are also looking into sponsorships for our tournaments.

Banquet Awards

Our ROY of the semester has been chosen, the winner is . . . well, you have to come to banquet to find out. An MVP has yet to be chosen.

Shady Dealings

We have some old, useless equipment laying around in the lockers. Ideas of what to do with it are to make dummies out of them, or to attempt to sell some of the stuff to our friends in the SCA.
