Virginia Tech Fencing Club Minutes, 11/17/04

My Monologue:

There’s just 2 days left until Thanksgiving break and things are wrapping up.  The Tech Open, the most important tournament of the year, was held last weekend.  Thanks a lot to all the volunteers who helped out and congratulations to all who participated!  Check out the website for results.

The Mary Washington tournament was canceled but don’t worry, there’s still possibly two other choices for this coming weekend.  The first is the Junior Olympics qualifiers at Buford Middle School in Charlottesville on the 20th (Saturday) and the second is the Cavalier novice again at Buford Middle School on the 21st (Sunday).

Don’t forget that practice is canceled Thursday and Friday so that the next meeting will be Monday, November 29.

The canned food drive ends on Friday.  Since you won’t be able to bring any more cans to practice contact me directly if you still have cans you would like to donate.

Social Events:

There will be a pot luck dinner Friday December 3rd at Megan’s house at 7:00PM and then ice skating afterwards at 9:00PM.  Directions will be sent out later once the plans are finalized.

November Tournaments:

JO Qualifiers November 20

Cavalier Novice (Foil) November 21
