Virginia Tech Fencing Club Minutes, 1/24/05
My Monologue:
Well, things are starting to get busy here at the VTFC. We’re gearing up for February which will be pretty intense. The VTFC demo and the beginning of the newbie lessons will be next Monday at 7:30PM in the dance room (same time/place practice is normally held). If you have any friends who may be interested, make sure you bring them along on Monday!
If you are on the team, make sure you double check your calendars and notify your squad captain if you have any conflicts. We need time to find and possibly train alternates, and if you haven’t said anything, we’re assuming you’re going to all the tournaments!
See you all at practice!!!
Social Events:
There is a plan in the works for some type of dinner we’d like to fit in the Friday of the week the newbie lessons start. Ideas are for “The Homeplace” or elsewhere, possibly a dinner theater. Send us ideas or requests!
