Virginia Tech Fencing Club Minutes, 1/31/05

My Monologue:

The beginner lessons started yesterday and we had a great turnout (about 34 people) for the demo!  (If you requested to receive emails from the fencing club at the demo then that’s why this is in your inbox now.)  With the lessons starting, we’d like to have as many club members present at the Monday/Wednesday practices as possible to help out.  If you’re new to the club, remember that the beginner lessons are on Mondays and Wednesdays from 7:30 to 8:30 and will continue for another 5 and a half weeks.  Our first tournament of the semester and the beginning of our hectic schedule is less than two weeks away now.  Make sure you inform Paul or Laura ASAP if any conflicts arise.  That’s all for now, see you all at practice!

Social Events:

There are currently no social events planned.  We’re probably going to try to get together to watch the super bowl, so talk to Jamie or others at practice and we’ll inform you of the details once we make final plans.
