Virginia Tech Fencing Club Minutes, 2/21/05

My Monologue:

Congratulations to both the women’s and men’s teams for doing so well last weekend.  The women won VIWFA and took first, second, and second in foil, saber, and epee respectively.  The men fenced very well and ended up beating two varsity teams.

Friday afternoon the women’s and men’s teams are heading up to Haverford, PA for NIWFA and MACFA Champs.  If you’re not going, you should definitely check out the USFA ratings rally at JMU.

We’ve decided to stick with the original date for the alumni tournament.  It will be held on April 30 and May 1.
