Officer Nights:
Monday:         Anne, Austin, James
Tuesday:         Austin, Christina
Wednesday:   Anne, Melinda, Sarah
Thursday:       Practice Cancelled due to the gym being closed
Friday:            Paul, (Rotation) this week = Austin

 

Tech Open:

Please preregister for the tournament, it helps draw in more fencers from afar.  Preregister Here!

Also, Triplette will be at the Tech Open selling gear.

 

Biannual Meeting:

The Biannual Meeting will be held in practice this Wednesday, October 26^th.  We will talk about the Tech Open and vote on a couple constitution changes.  If no one argues too much (Jen!) it should be over quickly.

 

Tech Open T-Shirts:

The shirts are here and they look cool!

 

Temple Open:

We have several people going, a group of guys and gals.  If you would like to go and still haven’t told anyone, Email me and I’ll see if I can get you in, there may be a late fee involved.

  

Men’s Team:

Congratulations on our first Men’s team meet.  Everyone fenced well.  Special Congrats to those who placed in individuals: Alex Marschner, Reid Howard, and Austin Carter.

 

Women’s Team: Changed!

The Foil and Sabre tryouts were held Monday and the Epee will be Today.  Feel free to try out for multiple weapons.  For more information, contact the Women’s Team Captain, Anne Kurtz.

 

Fundraising:

We are currently shooting some Ideas around about fundraising, if you have any you would like to share please email me with them.

  

Socials:

This Friday at 5:30pm there will be a cookout at Alex’s place, for more info see the other email, or contact Sarah. 

 

Halloween is a Monday this year, and we will be doing a Trick or Treat for charity, going out and about collecting canned goods.  Due to this activity,  Practice will be cancelled Monday, October 31^st.  Everyone come out and help this worthy cause!

 

SAC:

We are now working on getting everything ready for SAC(Southern Athletic Conference?) in February.  We are currently debating over what format to use for the tournament, there will be 15-18 schools attending.  If you have any ideas please Tell Me.  More information will follow.

Officer Meetings are held on Mondays at 6:15pm in the Ground Floor of Payne Hall.  Everyone is welcome to attend.
