Meetings:
Officer meetings will now be held on Tuesdays, in the cross-over lounge of Payne hall (until we find someplace better) at 6:30. As always, anyone is welcome to attend.
RecSports Deadlines:
Officers, you need to show your turnover folder to Alan in the RecSports office by April 2nd (even if you aren?t leaving).
The Sports Club Awards and Recognition dinner is on April 28, just for a heads up to our officers. We?ll be nominating people who want to go and get more information out soon.
Alumni Tournament:
Ohhh yes, it?s that time again. Time to get our butts kicked by our forbearers. May 1st-2nd is when it?s happenin?, and we are looking into having reduced fees this year (probably only 10$ per fencer, alums and all). We are currently on the prowl for a place big enough to hold an eating meeting.
USACFC:
April 2nd:
Well, we?ve had some set backs, but teams will be figured out soon and all involved will meet in front of War at 6:30am (in the morning) to depart. Hotel rooms are 2 rooms of 6, and 2 of 5. More info shortly.
End of the Year Banquet:
5/5 at El gaud?s. That?s all I have for you right now.
Fundraising:
The 50-50 raffle is up and running. If you don?t have tickets to sell or you were really intrepid and already sold all of yours, well then see an officer and we?ll hook you up with some. The drawing will be April 27th at the officer meeting. Before that time, everyone needs to bring their ticket tabs with the names/email addresses and the moola to James.
Roanoke Newbie-Tournament:
April 15th is official! This is the tournament where our new fencers can travel to Roanoke to fence with the class there in an informal tournament. This is good way to get strip time and have some fun, so make plans to come! It will be approximately 5 pm ? 11pm.
New Officers:
Yes, the apocalypse is near, and you?re new officers will be taking over April 30th at the meeting. If you are leaving, please have your key and turn over folder to get our new officers started off right.
