Southern Atlantic Conference

February 12-13, 2005

This conference is one of the newer ones we are in, which was started last year. This year we did fairly well; many of our men and women received medals, and both our mens and womens teams ended up in 2nd place overall. It was a fun tournament up at UMD, and we especially appreciate the food and housing donated to us by the Marschners and Caitlin. :)

The Saturday was for the men's team. We made our mark and took our spot in the basketball gym for the day.

Then there was much fencing to be had!!

On Sunday was the womens tournament, in a different gym. Today was a day of making new friends and keeping the old.

Then of course we had to fence as well!!

Unfortunately we had some injuries as well. :( Both Jen and her foil had some bad bends towards the end of the day.
